Actually, I highly doubt that the Capillata is either male or female. Why would it have sex organs? And generically, it is female - maleness is a mutation, being female is normal. Then again, the Capillata is just as easily thought of as inanimate, so does it really matter? - 205.213.6.3

To quote the Lone Shee in the Docking Station Story, "My transport creature is nearly half grown. I've decided to call her Capillata. I'm not sure it's actually female, but since ships are commonly named after the female of the species, I've decided to follow convention." - Don 18:03, 12 Dec 2005 (UTC)
