Nicely Crafted

Nicely Crafted Entertainment (aka NiCE) was formed by Toby Simpson and Ben Simpson on 13 February 2001 (see history). They were joined by ex-Cyberlife employees Mark Ashton and Robert Dickson in late 2002. Their first game, Time of Defiance, was released in late 2002, and they had 10 employees by August 2003.
