Creatures 4 is the nickname for a hypothetical new 2D game in the Creatures series. It was suspected that this title would be very much in the style of its predecessors, yet with more advanced technology and improved online playability (as introduced in Docking Station).

In November 2005 it was officially announced that (provided a publisher for Creatures was found) Gameware's next official Creatures game would be in 3D. More information on this topic is available in the Creatures 3D article.
