Similar to Where's The COB? - indeed, this website started soon after its demise - this site has one crucial difference; it has downloads for most of its COBs.
CObfinder General only covers C1 COBs. Still, it is probably the best resource for these right now, containing 399 files categorized by type (ie., food, herbs, vendors, etc).
It was also once the home of the cobdata file, which was a list of COBs, their class numbers, and their effects - not always what the maker had intended!
