Airlock
From Creatures Wiki
Creatures 3 and docked Docking Station worlds contain 2 airlocks, one in the Bridge and one in Engineering. Airlocks can be opened and closed by pressing the button located outside it and activated by pressing the button inside (activating an airlock will temporarily also close the door). The airlocks have a number of uses including the killing of Grendels (or other creatures should you so wish). The removal of certain critters and the destruction of agents that are either too big for the recycler or not effectively removed by it.
[edit] Did You Know?
Holding agents (and critters) inside the airlock when it is activated causes a glitch with the game physics that makes almost any object extremely bouncey. This can be very entertaining but be careful, not only can it be very difficult to catch one of these super-bouncey objects but certain agents can also cause problems in your game if set bouncing in the wrong place. For example: making a Stopper Plant from Norngarden bouncey and setting it off to bounce on the upper levels of the Bridge/Engineering can send Gaia (if you have her installed) on a little trip along the corridor.
Though playing with this glitch can be fun be careful and don't overuse it. If you want to play about with it it is reccomended that you test it out on a disposable world without creatures in before you try it in your favourite world.
Note: Some third party agents will not be destroyed when blasted out of the airlocks, these agents will then become aflicted by the same glitch.
